Piñata T-shirt
We spotted this piñata at the Christmas market in Puebla, hanging quietly in a booth like it had questions. Big ones. Existential ones. The kind of questions you ask when you’re made of paper, filled with candy, and destined for a wild party of candy-craving children. I imagine there’s only one outcome in that situation for a cute little donkey piñata like this guy.
Printed small and centered on the chest, the piñata feels less like a cartoon and more like a character study. Bright, chaotic color. Slightly slumped posture. The universal look of something that did not sign up for this but is very much involved anyway. It’s festive, but with a strong undercurrent of dread.
