Portland Water Bureau Notebook
We found this Portland Water Bureau utility cover while walking the city and did what any reasonable traveler does when confronted with particularly handsome municipal infrastructure—we stopped cold and took a picture of it. The guy texting on his phone behind us was not amused.
The raised lettering and geometric details are a bold civic graphic, complete with two discreet roses for the Rose City. Sorry, Bridge City people.
