The embroidered emblem comes from a sculpture we spotted on a butcher’s counter inside Zaragoza’s magnificent Central Market. We weren’t expecting to find one of our favorite symbols of the city among the day’s cuts of meat, but there it was—a beautifully simplified interpretation of El Pilar that felt timeless, graphic, and unmistakably Zaragoza.
Rather than explain it with words, we let the symbol do the talking. Clean lines and understated embroidery give this hat the look of something discovered in a neighborhood shop instead of an airport gift store.
