Cake Topper Boy T-shirt
We found Cake Topper Boy in a Mérida candy store. We don't know who made him or why. We’re not even sure he's a cake topper.
What we do know is that someone took the time to give him a yellow shirt with red stripes, enormous blue pants, radioactive green shoes, a magnificent head of molded brown hair, and a smile that says, “I know where you live.”
Now Cake Topper Boy sits on a soft, comfortable T-shirt, where his uneven paint, questionable proportions, and unsettling cheerfulness can finally get the exposure they deserve. No graphic treatment, no artistic reinterpretation—and absolutely no attempt whatsoever to make him less alarming. He is as someone made him because improving him would diminish the achievement.
Wear him with pride. People will ask questions. We have no answers.
